NO MORE CAMERA

I am so sad!! Our camera has died! No, it wasn't a fancy camera, but it did the job. I take pictures all the time of the kids. This weekend we went to Craig Taylor and Mallory Zangla's wedding in Alexandria. Caleb and Craig have been friends for years. He was the best man. The wedding was beautiful AND the girls were so sweet the whole weekend. We were so proud of them. They also looked precious, but I have no proof because I didn't have a camera!!!

Today Audrey's class is having a Mother's Day Program. Can't wait!! I am so fortunate and blessed to have a job with so much flexibility and freedom. My supervisor always puts our families first. I often feel guilty about being a working mom, so this helps ease the guilt a little.

Easter at the Beach

We just got home yesterday from a James Family vacation to Watercolor, Florida. Watercolor is outside of Destin right by Seaside. We had a blast and the six James cousins had the best time together (with minimal fighting)!!! Thank you so much Poppa and Honey for the great trip. We are very blessed to have you in our lives and we loved our vacation with you.

I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to on my (okay, OUR new laptop). Now, I am off to pick up the girls and head to church. Audrey has a "Bible Bowl" tonight. Not exactly sure what that is, but I will let you know when I know!!

Hope everyone had a great Easter. It is back to the "real world" for me tomorrow. I have really enjoyed my time off. :)

Fun Weekend

We had a fun weekend!! Friday night the girls went to Dinner and a Movie at Railroad Park. My sweet (and crazy!!) friend Sally offered to take the girls along with her two kids. They had so much fun!! Audrey and Jack Henry are in the same class and have always gotten along so well. They just have the same temperament and personality. Abby and Mary Hope became fast friends over the pass few times we've been together. They also get along....they are soooo silly and have LARGE personalities (I think that is a good way to put it)!! Sally sent a few pictures throughout the evening. Apparently, it was a little cold......I wouldn't know, I was home by MYSELF!! Caleb was gone for the night so I had such a nice, quiet evening doing NOTHING!!

Sweet girls!!!

Sunday I took Abby to the Easter Egg Hunt for preschoolers at our church. She had fun. Her favorite part.....petting the donkey!! She got plenty of eggs and too much candy. While we were hunting eggs, Caleb and Audrey were at the theater seeing "Soul Surfer". Audrey LOVES movies just like her daddy. They both liked it and enjoyed their time together.

Happy Birthday, Abby!!!

Our sweet Abigail Kate is 4 years old today. So hard to believe!! It seems like yesterday she was born. Abby has been such a blessing to our family. She is sweet, sensitive, a little dramatic and hilarious. She keeps us laughing all the time!! She also LOVES her momma (I don't blame her!!) and gives the sweetest kisses!! What a wonderful 4 years we have had and looking forward to many more. Happy Birthday, Abby!! Here is a look at her through the years......

NEW PAINT!!!!!!

We finally had our house painted. It was absolutely horrible. Our house had just been painted when we moved in (almost 5 years ago), but it was mildewed and just disgusting. Caleb had tried several times to power wash it, but the mildew would come back within days. Below are pictures before being painted:

We are so excited and LOVE IT!!! Also, I should add that Caleb picked out the colors all on his own!! He did a great job. We used 3 different colors. The ceilings are one color, the actual house is another color and the support pieces are a third color.

We also had the sprinkler system repaired. So, we need to get in the yard and do a little work so we will have pretty flower beds to match our "new" house.

We Are So Excited!!

I cannot recall a time that I have ever won anything....ever. In fact, I cannot think of a time that anyone in my family has won something. The last time I remember was when my sister, Ann (I think she was Brooke at the time...different story for a different time), won a blow up something from the local 7-11 for a drawing contest. I am not sure if Caleb has had much luck in the winning department either. Well, the streak was broken last night. We attended a fundraiser (auction) for Audrey' school and we won the drawing for a year's tuition PAID! Yes, that is right, we don't have to pay a dime of Audrey's school tuition next year!!!! WOO HOO!!
