The James Sweat Glands

It is a true affliction......it has gotten worse as I have gotten older.  The James sweat glands (we like to blame dad and his people) affect me and brother Andrew.  Sister Ann says she has the problem, too, but I am not sure she has a full blown case (sorry Ann, just speaking truth).

Let me say, I do not mind sweating WHEN I AM SUPPOSED to be sweating.  I love the way I feel when I get off the treadmill drenched.  I DO mind sweating when I am dolled up for work or some other occasion where I (attempt) to style my hair and apply my make up.  I am a girly girl and love every bit that comes along with that.  BUT, there are times the sweat starts and it is horrible!!

I sweat in the summer (duh) and I sweat in the winter.  I cannot stand the heater (at work I sometimes feel like I am going to suffocate) and I think coats/jackers are very overrated.

I think it is time to admit that I am guilty of sticking my head in the freezer when I am attempting to get ready and the sweat takes over.  Caleb came home from Andrew's last week so excited to show me a picture he had taken with his phone.  He said, "you have GOT to see this.  Madeline is SUCH a James."  This is what he showed me......

I know exactly how she feels!!!  Ashley told Caleb when Madeline gets hot, she sits in the refrigerator.  Caleb got to their house right after Madeline and Ashley had returned from walking from her parent's house (they live down the street).  Ashley comfirmed that Madeline does indeed have the James sweat glands.....Bless her sweet sweaty heart!!!

Better Late than Never....

So, I am finally getting around to posting about Christmas.  It may be a little obnoxious the amount of pictures I am going to post, but here goes.....

Audrey's school Christmas party:
Audrey and Emily (with Jack Henry in the background)
Audrey and me
Elizabeth, Audrey and Sophia

Christmas Eve:

Audrey
Abby
Ganny (Caleb's mom) and the girls

For some reason, we did not take a lot of pictures Christmas day.  We spent the morning at home and then went to Bossier to Caleb's sister's house, but I didn't bring the camera.

With their i-pods that Santa brought (I know a little excessive for a 4 year old, but Santa saw fit, so what ya gonna do???  ;)

We spent a few days with the Miller's last week.  We always have fun with cousins...

Sweet cousins (Abby, Audrey, Emma and Jack)

Cousin Julia had her 1st birthday party Saturday morning.  Such a sweet baby girl.  I didn't have my camera for that either.....I need to get better about bringing my camera places.

Tomorrow we have to go back to the real world.  I am excited to get back into a routine, but tomorrow morning is going to be rough...I just know it!!!
