Christmas Break

So far, we have had a nice break. Caleb and I are both off of work (for the most part) for this week and next. We have had fun with the girls so far. Although, Audrey has requested to go to Mrs. Shelly's tomorrow (the babysitter), which is fine with me......that means I have no excuse to not clean my house!!

Monday night, we worked on the gingerbread Christmas tree. The girls had so much fun doing this. We did one last year, too.

Yesterday we went to see "Tangled" such a cute movie!! All four of us loved it. Caleb and Audrey are excited about going to see "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" over the break, too. Caleb read the whole Narnia series to Audrey a few years ago and LOVED it. Sweet Audrey loves to read.
A few weeks ago, Audrey and Abby asked if they could play with the Bend-a-roos. For the record, I despise them!! They are sticky and so hard to get off the floor - tile and carpet. Audrey saw the infomercial a while back for them and asked for some. Yuck!! Anyway, Caleb and I helped them make pigs with the bend-a-roos. When we were done, Abby thought they needed to be added to her Little People Nativity (or as she say, activity) scene. Can you spot them???

Today we braved the mall to see Santa. It was not bad at all!! We didn't even have to wait in line to see Santa. He was such a good Santa. So sweet with the girls. He took a lot of time with them and talked with them. Abby has been wanting to know what Santa's middle name is, so she had her chance to ask him. He said that he doesn't have a middle name, but that his nickname is St. Nick. Such a sweet Santa!!

I even think the picture turned out pretty cute. I am just amazed at how big my girls are getting. They are growing up so quickly. It kind of makes me sad......but not enough to have another baby!!!
