Oh, Abby

AUDREY: Momma, get the camera! You have got to see what Abby is doing!

ME: Okay, just a second.

AUDREY: Now, before she stops! Does she think she is still a tiny baby? Only little babies do that. Are the raisins not good enough?

And just in case you didn't get a close enough look.........

Trip to the Dentist

I wanted a picture of the girls together because they were playing and being so sweet yesterday before Caleb took them to school/daycare. Of course, they both would not cooperate!

Audrey had her first trip the the dentist yesterday. She was a little nervous before we got there and asked all sorts of questions. Once we got there, she started to warm up. By the end of the visit, she was visiting with all the employees and asking to go back the next day! She did great and her teeth look great. We are so proud of her. Last night and tonight she has been so excited to floss her teeth.

That is really all that has been going on at the Seney house. Just the normal...which is nice! Looking forward to the weekend.

Whiney-Whinerton

I have realized that I was sooo whiney in my last post.....all doom and gloom. Really, it was not that bad!! I do appreciate the sweet comments, though!!

It was sooo cold today. The girls did not leave the house all day and stayed in their pajamas the whole time.

The day started with Audrey hearing Abby wake up and going in to check on her. By the time I got in Abby's room, this is what I found:

Audrey making her entrance
She did it!
Hanging out in the crib together
I just let them stay in there and play and have fun. I kept hearing giggles and squills and thinking how sweet it sounded. When Caleb eventually went in to check on them, Audrey had emptied the contents of Abby's three dresser drawers into the crib. What fun it was to clean that up!
By the end of the day, boredom had set in. Abby found a Dora Little Swimmer and demanded I put it over her pajamas. Audrey had found a springtime skirt that is too big for her and insisted she wear it because it "twirls" good.
No, Abby does not still take a bottle, that is one of her old bottles she "feeds" her babies with..she was just being silly; imagine that!

CRAZY WEEK

It has not been the best week for the Seney's! Monday started out with us sleeping late...Audrey was out of school, so we were not very motivated to get the day started. I ended up taking the morning off and just lounging....it was nice!! Caleb took the WHOLE day off.

Tuesday was a VERY busy day at work, but I survived. By the end of the day, my head was was pounding! I went to bed at 7:00 and did not even wash my face. Sweet Caleb missed a prior obligation to stay home and take care of the girls so I could sleep.

Wednesday, I stayed home sick, so Thursday was VERY busy at work. Thursday night, Audrey got sick and got in bed at 6:00. So, she stayed home today with Caleb and I taking turns staying with her and working.

Thankfully, the week got better tonight. Abby and I attended Lawson's 2nd birthday. He is so dang cute! Love him. Abby was very social and sweet... had a great time. It didn't hurt that there was pizza, cookies and cup cakes involved. That girl loves pizza. She has been known to steal off other plates.....at church, no less!

We are hoping next week is A LOT better.

Last Saturday, LiLi, Andrew, Ashley and Madeline came over to play. The kids had fun. Looking at the picture below, they could all be siblings, at least that is what my friend Lori told me!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Interesting Find

The other night, Caleb opened his sock drawer to put up his clean socks and I heard him giggle. The giggles continued so I went to find out what he was laughing about. One by one he pulled the following things out of his drawer:

1. Baby doll
2. Wand
3. Angel
4. Plastic french fries
5. Thomas the train
6. Heart Pez dispenser
7. red and yellow toy that Abby calls a "yo-yo"
8. token launcher and tokes from a happy meal

Apparently, Abby has stuffed these goodies in her daddy's drawer without anyone knowing. How do we know Abby is the culprit? Because Abby has a deep affection for all these items and they happen to belong to her sister. That sneaky girl was hiding her treasures from her sister. Scary to think about how much more sneaky she will be as she gets older!

Grover

***Before I even start, allow me to apologize for the RED eyes***
Isn't he cute? Grover is our first born child....he will be 6 on September 1. When we moved from our little house downtown to our current house, Grover became an outside dog. There are several reasons why he moved outside, but it did not change our love for him. It did, however, change the amount of time we spent with him. The girls know him...but through the glass doors.
Well, about a week ago Caleb and I went to see "Marley and Me." Hsve you seen it?? Caleb and I both cried like babies. At one sad part in the movie, Caleb whispered to me "I didn't know we were coming to see the modern day 'Old Yeller'."
As we walked to the car after the movie, Caleb suggested we go home and take Grover on a walk. Those were my thoughts exactly! So, since then we have made an effort to spend more time with Grover.....we even let him come in (the front of) the house. The girls are so funny with him. Audrey is a little hesitant around him, but Abby won't leave him alone. She chases him around screaming "GoGo"......too cute.

Still Here!!

Wow! I did not realize it had been a week since I last wrote a post until today when my sister called and asked me if I had quit altogether. No, I have not quit. We have spent this week trying to get back in our routine. Caleb and I were both off of work for two weeks and Audrey was out of school. It's been a long week and I am sooooo glad tomorrow is Friday!!!!

The below pictures crack me up! Abby is SUCH a monkey and is always so busy.....she DOES NOT stop. This is how I found her. Glad I had the camera nearby. Don't worry, right after taking the pictures I made her get down.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Seney Family ONLY!

Audrey decided that we needed to have a New Year's Eve Party for our family - ONLY. The party involved decorations (streamers and balloons picked out by Audrey), horns, necklaces and cookies. Fun, fun!! Audrey enjoyed decorating the cookies and Abby enjoyed eating them!

Icing the cookies (pink, of course)!

Adding the sprinkles (again, pink)

Daddy with his girls (he even wore necklaces)

Abby enjoying Audrey's hard work

Still enjoying

Notice Abby's pink mouth
That really is all we did for New Year's Eve!! Well, Caleb and I also watched the LSU game. It was a nice, relaxing evening at home.
Happy New Year's everyone!!
